Praying through the flute

The intention of my flute playing is to listen for Spirit, as a practice of discernment in life. Most of my playing is improvisational. While I am not Native American by blood, this music is offered as a prayer of humility and memory to honor Native American sisters and brothers, whose ways and spirit were dishonored during the historic expansion of European culture and communities in North Ameica, and who continue to bear the brunt of systemic racism in the Americas.  How might music be a part of your prayer life?
